Dr. Elizabeth Kiss
Dr. Kiss is the current Warden of Rhodes House and CEO of the Rhodes Trust, the first woman to hold the position. She began her journey with the Rhodes Scholarship as a graduate of Davidson College and as a Rhodes Scholar with a BPhil and DPhil at Oxford University. Dr. Kiss has taught at Randolph-Macon College, Deep Springs College, and at Princeton University for several years before founding Duke University’s Kenan Institute for Ethics. Prior to her current position, Dr. Kiss served as president of Agnes Scott College for twelve years, building the institution to such titles as “Second Most Diversified College in America” (Times) and “Most Successful Liberal Arts College for Graduating Low-income Students” (US Department of Education). As Warden of Rhodes House, she oversees the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship and associated programs. The Rhodes Scholarship, founded in 1903, supports students from around the world at any postgraduate program at Oxford University with 100 annually named scholars. We are excited to have Dr. Kiss as our featured keynote speaker on April 1st, 2022!
